Use editable teaching resources
Begin with a prepared lesson-topic diagram, personalise it with the full editing toolkit and save your own reusable version.
Features
Start with the right setting, arrange the details that matter and keep the finished explanation for later.
A stronger starting point
Open a built-in topic diagram, then adapt it for the learner in front of you. Place objects, draw routes or hazards, add notes, rename the result and return to it later. Your saved version stays editable and the original remains available whenever you want to start again.
Resources include visual guides for cockpit drill, moving off using POM and pulling over on the left using MSM, with further lesson topics able to join the same organised resource shelf.
They are working teaching canvases—not pages you can only look at.
A complete visual teaching toolkit
ADI Base currently includes 39 pre-designed road layouts, 100+ UK traffic signs, 45 road markings, 30+ teaching and roadside objects, 15 vehicle types, five dedicated pedestrian crossings and six traffic-light configurations.
Build anything from a simple junction or roundabout to a dual-carriageway or motorway scenario. Add vehicles, road users, signs, markings and roadside objects, then move, resize and edit the scene around the lesson.
Built to keep improving. The library will continue to expand as instructor feedback identifies new layouts, objects and teaching resources that would add genuine value.
Street View Teaching Mode
Explore a real location with your pupil, lock the chosen view and add drawings or notes over the scene. Save the panorama reference, viewing angle and annotations, then reopen the same explanation later without storing the Street View imagery itself.
Begin with a prepared lesson-topic diagram, personalise it with the full editing toolkit and save your own reusable version.
Choose from 240+ visual teaching assets, including layouts, vehicles, road users, signs, markings, crossings, traffic lights and roadside objects.
Use drawing and text tools to highlight hazards, planned routes, observations and priorities.
Store useful scenarios locally on your device and return to them when a learner needs another look.
Favourite useful layouts, reorder supported sections and keep custom layouts within reach.
Built-in layouts and most editing tools can work offline. Live Satellite View, Street View, place search and live location require internet access. Previously saved snapshot-backed satellite scenarios can be reopened and edited offline.
Animate supported vehicle indicators, brake lights and emergency lights, and step through realistic traffic-light phases as part of the explanation.
ADI Base is designed for Android tablets and is compatible with Android smartphones, so your teaching workspace can stay within reach.
Export road-layout and blank-canvas scenarios to Photos, then share them for revision or preparation. Imported images require permission. Satellite-map scenarios can be saved in ADI Base and locally to Photos with attribution, but ADI Base does not provide a direct sharing action for satellite imagery. Map-provider terms continue to apply.
Begin with an editable resource, a UK road layout, Blank Canvas, a custom image, Satellite View or Street View Teaching Mode.
Explore a real location in Street View, lock the view, add drawings and notes, then save the panorama reference and annotations for later.

Important: ADI Base must never be operated while driving. It must only be used when the vehicle is safely and legally parked and secured, with the engine switched off.
